If you don’t have a special soft spot for this movie, your mother must’ve ripped out your heart out of your butt and replaced it with a stone when you were a child. I’m as mean as they come and I still i think it’s a wonderful piece of art.
Amelie (the character, not the movie) drives me ‘effing crazy though, so I got quite pleased when Timmy thought up a ‘what if’ that would put a nasty spin on her. ‘Cause this one’s all Timmy, he came up with the question (the way every comic starts) and then I refined it into a situation.
I’m starting to see a pattern in our different ideas (although we always run everything by one another a hundred times), mine tend to be mean, dry and twisted while Timmy’s just plain mad. No really, plain cuckoo! And often with plenty of references to internet phenomenas and puns – he’s the one who wants to please you, while I’m only in it to please myself. Then, on the other hand, we’ve known eachother for so long it’s impossible to tell our references apart anymore.
Doesn’t matter who came up with the question, there’s always a little Timmy in my stuff and a little Anna in his stuff.
