On Bullshit

This is actually one of the first ideas that kicked the whole “what if”-idea into action. It’s just so basic, what if she didn’t go and hide in that wardrobe? Also, you’ll see A LOT of narina-comics in the future, we just keep coming back to Aslan’s Kingdom for some reason.

I guess it is because those movies are such bullshit. really, such BULLSHIT! not “prince of persia”-bullshit, but on a completely different level: ignorant bullshit, poorly handled bullshit – small kids fucking around with weapons bullshit.

So we say PUNCH LUCY INTO THE SUN, problem solved, childhood time saved for the swing.

Punching Fleabags

Narnia was, where we grew up, one of those books that everyone thirsty for escapism read in middle-school. It was the only viable option in the time between the unreleased Harry Potter and after the Lord of the Rings had been read until the backs cracked wide open. After exhasuting your Pratchetts, you were suddenly left to dry – except for the lonely vial of Narnia. I don’t remember the books as great, but what I do remember is watching that first movie while thinking to myself: “Asgrdhff..?”.

Anna and I have this meme going on in our heads. Punching X INTO THE SUN, first improvised as we saw Fem-Shepp of Mass Effect-fame dragon fist a guy of a ledge with an uncanny grin.

I guess after all this time, this is my chance to finally PUNCH NARNIA INTO THE SUN, like Commander Sheppard would. And she’ll always be better than anything as the below clip clearly stipulates.

had thimmy choosen, the cupboard would have been a meat grinder. glee!

Oh, Narnia: portrayed as a frozen tundra, ladden with summer treasure, adventure hidden inside an armoire of olde English class. Ah yes, sweet Narnia, how we loathe thee.

For such an inspiring series of books, the adapations left much to wish for, and thus we used our imagination and wished that Lucy went and hid somewhere else.
