Another crossover, this time with Hellboy in Chuck!
Chuck is, btw, a great show. Watch it or lose out!

Being a teenager is, as we can all recall, tough. Being a demon teenager in lederhosen with the Jew Hunter Hans Landa breathing down your neck must be even tougher – but it’s even worse for a nerdgirl, who’s heart beats for H.B. and H.B. alone, to draw it. A pimply, fugly teenage Hellboy having dinner with a nazi… This comic sure takes me strange places.
So, when we went looking for the “what if” in the first Hellboy movie, it was “What if the Alliance/Americans/Proffesor Broom never found him?” Would he be raised by the sheep? No, he would of course fall into the Axis hands, the Nazi’s to be more precise. And who would you send to take care of a demon baby-boy with a huge stonehand? Landa, of course. Who else would be trusted with something like that?
This is the first time we use crossovers in WIC, and believe you me, there’ll be more of that. A lot more! We really enjoy the thought that there is a alternate movie universe, where they all slide in to each other and merge. If needed. To make you laugh, and us snigger.
Today’s update, brought to you straight from hell and Germany, possibly one and the same. Jokes aside, what the Nazis did was a most horrendous thing, but at least they were brought on the market as excellent starter-punching-bags for our aspiring anti-hero Hellboy. The first movie featured the struggle between the Alliance and the Axis with supernatural elements in a most awesome way, and besides the comics we were thrilled to have it – the critics less so, but meh.
The German forces of the past, which should in no way be associated with the gentle people of today’s Germany, also inspired the astounding Nazi cameo character who’s feeding our dear Helljugend – sort of the best thing that ever came out of that horrible situation, you know, besides the universal standard of evil that made our moral compass so much easier to naviagate, hopefully for generations.
Check back Monday for another BONUS comic! Monday’s will be the last one before we proceed to a steady Thursdays-only schedule.
