So, the Matrix has the Nebuchadnezzar, a submarine that takes them on all sorts of adventures in and out of a dreamscape ladden with possibly imaginary, binary characters able to morph in and out of reality – and the Beatles has their Yellow Submarine. Parallels, anyone?

People may sneer at “Matrix” these days, mainly because we’ve been so overfed with slowmotion action sequences since it first came out. But dammit, don’t you forget  that this movie ROCKED. YOUR. WORLD when you were thirteen.

I’ve always been especially found of the Oracle-scene, you just can’t help but to want to be her, or at least be best friends with someone like that. Underneath all that sweetness she’s tough as nails. The sparpest knife in the drawer, and she knows it. Would you like a cookie with that otherworldly wisdom, sweetie?
